Parental Controls

Film4 Productions Parental Controls

Film4 Productions Parental Controls are separate to those that may have been set on other Channel 4 websites/apps. For example, if you have set up PIN protection for content on all4.com, this will not be recognised by film4productions.com and a new PIN will need to be set up specifically for content on film4productions.com. For more information about PIN Access, please visit our Help Section (This link opens in a new window).

Set up PIN protected content

Your PIN can be set at one of two levels: All rated content (16+ years of age only) or 18 rated content only (18+ years of age only).

All rated content (16 and 18)

If you choose to set it for All rated content (16+), then anyone wishing to view content suitable only for users over 16 years of age will need the PIN.

At 18

If you choose to set it at 18 rated content (18+), then anyone wishing to view content suitable only for users over 18 years of age will need the PIN.

Once enabled, you'll have to enter your PIN in order to view rated content on Film4.

If you share your PIN with, or allow your PIN to be accessed by, anyone else and it is entered by them, then all content on Film4.com will be accessible, including 18 rated content suitable only for adults. Please keep your PIN secure.

Disable your PIN

You have already set up a PIN and will be prompted for it on 16 rated content. If you want to disable your PIN, or change the age rating for the PIN you have set up, you will need to enter your current PIN below.

PIN Protected Content

In order to help you control access to the content on film4productions.com, we have provided a PIN (Personal Identification Number) system. This will enable you to set a PIN to prevent anyone viewing the content you choose to restrict access to. You may find this helpful to ensure children and younger viewers in your household can only view content that is appropriate for them.
