Film4 began the year with four world premieres at Sundance from debut feature directors: Molly Manners' Extra Geography, Rafael Manuel's Filipiñana, Olive Nwosu's Lady and Joanna Natasegara's The Disciple. Filipiñana, Lady and Ashley Walters' Animol also premiered at Berlinale. Current productions include debut features from Alice Birch (Sweetsick), Jonathan Schey (Everybody Wants To F*ck Me) and Bijan Sheibani (The Arrival), alongside new films from Martin McDonagh (Wild Horse Nine), Andrew Haigh (A Long Winter), Tomas Alfredson (Séance on a Wet Afternoon) and Mike Leigh (Tender Loving Care).
